Pathways To Trust is partnering with Ladders to Leaders and Hillel Internation to increase our impact in the rare disease world this summer. We would like to introduce our new interns who will be working on the Time To Listen campaign.
Alexey Aulov is a full time Information Systems and Informatics student at College of Staten Island who is aspiring to become a software engineer. Alexey will be helping to grow the Pathways To Trust web presence by launching the Time to Listen to Rare Disease suite of sites, led by Time to Listen to Sickle Cell Disease. Alexey is passionate about creating applications and developing them with the highest attentions to standards and detail.
Julissa Ortega is currently a junior majoring in Corporate Communications major at Baruch College. Julissa will be working on Marketing for Pathways To Trust, contributing to the social media campaign, researching and developing marketing materials. At Baruch, she has participated in extracurricular activities and committees focused on the betterment of the school community. Julissa’s goals include pursuing a career in Public Relations and continuing her involvement in the Baruch College student government.
Kelly Arias is a senior student at New York City College of Technology studying Entertainment Technology. Kelly will be shooting and editing a variety of videos for Pathways To Trust web presence including multiple social media channels. She is aspiring to become a video editor. On her spare time, she likes to play video games, watch movies, and walk her dog.
Weilu Hou is a rising senior at Stony Brook University in New York, majoring in Business Management with a specialization in Marketing. Weilu will be spreading awareness regarding rare diseases such as Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) through social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. She will also research SCD and other rare diseases to discover funding, innovation, and legislation to help strengthen our communications with our target audience, potential patients, and healthcare providers.
